Bruised and sore…

I would have done yoga on Monday if I’d A) remembered the class and B) not been in pain. My leg is swollen and my leg has spectacular bruises. My left shoulder is bruised so you can sympathise that squeezing myself into yoga positions wasn’t going to work.

I’d got up at 8 and started packing the car full of bags and miscellaneous objects which needed taking to the skip. At 945 I headed off to the local tip, joining a queue as it hadn’t opened yet. I did manage to throw away a carload of unwanted junk.

But I then had to do admin stuff which I don’t want to do…

These apples can be added to the compost as they are generally riddled with worms this year.

But slowly I feel like the recovery from any accident – self induced or otherwise – is taking longer. Aches and pains appear and disappear at will. It’s also age…

I didn’t think I’d manage the drive to Welwyn for rehab on Tuesday which is annoying but it allowed me to make drinks for the gardener. We’ve had our first full sessions and just need to decide on what is done moving forward after the tree guys come for the tallest tree’s (manicure) pollard.

The clear-up has the dogs approval as the delighted romps where the bushes have gone seem to indicate that the vermin have fewer hiding places and he’s practicing digging in new places.
