A restful Christmas Day and lazy Boxing Day has not seen me tempted to go outside. Festive tv and telephone calls and a lot of chocolate.

We’ve had an amazing amount of food. I made the biggest ever bowl of trifle, which we’ll be eating for days!

I hope you’re having a merry Christmas and looking forward to different planting, digging and weeding tasks in 2023. Gardening keeps me fit but I have definitely slowed down a lot recently. I could spend time worrying about this but I think we are going to have lots to think about in 2023, not least sending a 16year old to Korea, and trying to get to see other family members around the world.
