My painful hands have improved so much over the last week and it’s making me feel so much more positive. Life is good – a date night has given us a chance to discuss stuff (and eat puddings!) – and coming to the end of a challenging year has left me feeling optimistic for good things to come.

I just hope I can get some final outside jobs finished before we start focusing on the interior jobs that have question marks still.
