After a morning of Remembrance Parades – two different Cub and scout troupes, two locations – and rather cold nevertheless, meant that it took a while to go outside and cultivate!
I found a sudden burst of energy and the sun came out for some perfect gardening weather (for November?) and I planted some penstemons and iris bulbs, and some heuchera and astrantia. Probably left it too late but nothing seems on target this year? Already it seems we have to plan for Christmas and talk about what we will do and with family all over now, that is not straightforward.
And we talked on a healthy dog walk round Willian where the dusk saw the most amazing moon. It’s a really pleasant walk in the darkening lanes and very peaceful.
