Found another gooseberry bush! Ok it’s a big garden and this apple tree is overgrown and surrounded by spiky pyracantha! I was pulling out some things behind the bench we abandoned here… lovely!

Smallest is already planning rhubarb and gooseberry pies! I made choc chip cookies in between gravel cleaning today and I was starting to move gravel to the bench area when weeds started calling me! The gooseberries were discovered soon after. Yum!

Birds caused a ruckus during this clearance so I think the three nests D found may still be occupied. Black and white coloured with pink heads? Finches?
