I spent 3 hours at the local garden society shop and came home with lots of freebies! We will be having broad beans for sure but I got some dahlias from an award winning grower for free.

The girls are getting some of those for their plots (I am not a fan but this garden is growing organically)! Having my age drop by a decade or two by one of the other helpers also made me feel super happy!

I also bought two tickets for a trip to Beth Chatto’s garden in August, a garden I have been desperate to visit! Yay!

We discussed lots of the things I have been having issues with and giving me lots of ideas for the next few weeks. I got some stump killer for the front garden and behind the shed in the back.

National Garden Scheme also has a Buntingford (near us) garden open in June so you may be hearing about that one too.
