Crown of thorns!

An hour or so in the front garden was not as productive as I’d like it to have been. I ordered lots of things to be planted but they should have gone into the ground two weeks ago…

Whitethorn is growing everywhere…

But hey today I planted some anemone, fritillaries, ranunculus and tulips. Whether they’ll survive the winter, or the squirrels, is another story.

Some should definitely have been planted two weeks ago but my argument with the supermarket doors was not anticipated, nor was the length of time not kneeling, part of my October plan.

So to get outside for an hour was an achievement. To plan some 2027 bulbs was a great sense of anticipation for me. It also was eye opening how much I wasn’t doing enough this year.

The earth was too much for my fork!

I started feeling sick. I only managed an hour, not more, and nausea hit. Why? Am I so unfit? Is it menopausal? Is it MS biting me on the posterior or is it the pain from the fall when I try to kneel?

I booked my blood test again as requested by my MS team as something was too high. Do I need to see the doctor to ask for medical advice? Is the gardening trying to tell me something ain’t right?
