A gadget arrived and has been put to use. I am now feeling achy from gardening instead of my battle with supermarket doors.
Another few tools were used by my hubby to decapitate some thorny bushes which have sprouted this year in a lot of places – mainly the lawn – so with neglect came a concerted effort to reduce the nasty spiky things.

I bought myself a thatch rake, which is used for demossing grass. The front garden has been neglected a bit, I’m not gonna lie. So an hour or two was spent using the new tool to sort out the overly mossy grass.
It was useful as a rake, too. Tools are taking on a multi purpose role in our house/garden.

So an afternoon intended for bulb planting became a concerted attack on the thorns. I will admit that my experience with the supermarket doors is still affecting my movements – I need a kneeler with goose down padding to be able to kneel currently so I need to get clever with my bulb planting this week.
