A friend recommended her brother to me to work on the garden and I am very glad she did. From early morning (for me) to midday a lot of my demons have been cleared …

I am minus the laurel and the privets which were overtaking the sunny side of the garden.

Brambles were really taking over the garden in so many places that we couldn’t see them weaving their way through until the ends produced fruit.

We have a few hours to go so what more will vanish into those enormous skip bags by six o’clock?

Ten years now in this garden and replacing numerous fence panels, we can now SEE the fences! As well as the roses and special trees that have been striving to survive, they can now be seen as the special features that they are.

Hoping the tree guys can also make a feature of the enormous sycamore by pollarding it in a couple of weeks…

What a difference a day makes! Thank you Matt!
