Staithes

Another seaside town with vertigo-inducing cliffs and paths down almost vertical drops. There was a special reason for visiting this area because it has a geologically significant landscape.

The smallest and I stayed in this quaint little village and oldest and dad went along the cliffs to see fossils. Smallest did a fabulous watercolour and I took some photos to add to my collection.

I also bought things! A traditional sweet shop was a costly stop. I played tourist to my hearts content. I could have bought so much more. There were lots of local exhibitions on and I saw lots of little craft things I really liked. What a delightful place to spend the day.

We watched the tide go out!

Hubby sent me updates from the cliffs. There were a few fossils and rock formations I only saw by the pics they sent me. My legs were too wobbly this week and I might have mentioned the terrible vertigo? I might have to raise that with my medics. New medication isn’t touching some of my symptoms which are definitely getting worse.
