What place in the world do you never want to visit? Why?

I don’t visit places to feel unsafe. I went to New Orleans and our car was broken into. That was scary.

I had a weekend in Belfast and there was a feeling of take care what you do or say, despite the retreat of troops and less presence of paramilitaries than there would have been. Conscious of supposed lessening of tensions.

So do I choose not to go places? Not keen on the United States currently. There is too much unchecked madness and I’m not sure I’d be given a visa. Heyho, if I hadn’t seen 30 or so of the States in my university exchange year, I might be upset at not ever seeing Washington State or Washington DC…

Family regularly travel round Spain and having also done a touring trip from top to bottom, I’d possibly go elsewhere if the family didn’t live there…

But I still don’t want to say I will never go somewhere! Often your best experiences happen when you are reluctant, or when things happen by chance. Never say No!
