I have spent the afternoon getting grubby and filling several planters with soil and plants. Agapanthus has been planted as well as peonies, crocus and anemones. I’ve been needing to do that for a while (as shown by the buds on the crocus bulbs.

I also got some grasses (miscanthus sinensis) and little blue plants (Erigeron) as well as lambs ears. I wanted to have lots of interest. I am also chancing a couple more hostas so all troughs are covered in shell. I’ll throw some coffee grounds on later.
