What’s normal anyway? The weather is screwing with Normal. Last few Years May and June have been tropical but it’s not promising anything this year. I have not planted as much as I have previously but I hate watering as much as I dislike certain plant types.

Lots of alliums are popping up all over as well as other things I have introduced, and things I think the birds have introduced. The snails are enjoying all my hostas unfortunately and certain trees are looking fruitful. Boy our plum tree is looking really abundant. It’s only May but some of the best bits are seeing things everywhere that are part of my interventions. Making my stamp on the place…
