We stopped off in Falkland and visited Falkland Palace and despite a fascinating tour of the interior with amazing facts about the making of a Royal bed and the hunting parties, and a fabulous gift shop, the garden is under restoration and will be replanted in spring next year.

We had been previously, maybe 10/12 years ago with a toddler that was on the go, so not conducive to really seeing things, like the nests in the tennis building. One for again!

We had a lovely time though and sheltered from the rain in the old fashioned tennis courts. So different to grass courts!
