Locally it’s kind of quiet cos it’s raining! Street party weather in Britain for sure. I’m not that keen on visiting gardens (I’d looked up Open Gardens on Thursday) but after yesterday and a dog walk this morning (which took us to a garden centre! No purchases were made) I think yesterday was plenty for me.

We took a walk through a normal nature reserve which normally has wildflowers and lovely trees but for some reason new fences have been erected around the wild flowers… possibly they meant every word of the previous sign about not letting the wild flowers escape!
