May sees alliums and aquilegia come into their own! Beautiful frills all over as well as the fierce Californian poppies bursting into bright orange blooms. Our house was painted three years ago and it provides a beautiful clean backdrop to these blooms too!

The peonies are out too! I have been delivered some zinnias and other plug plants that need planting tomorrow. Some lime green and blue if I’m not mistaken!
