We popped out to Waste Not Want Not and came back with a boot full of plants! As I am now going to go to Knebworth tomorrow I will not need Day lilies, verbena boniariensis, foxgloves and a few other plants. I spent £40! But I got five plants free! And we went for a cake in a garden centre on the way back.

That wasn’t the end of it as we stopped off at Hitch Wood and enjoyed the beautiful bluebells! Watch out for a spectacular array of pictures! We took our time walking round the route and despite the instructions I still cannot believe people ignore the pleas to protect this beautiful wood and wander in the protected parts… the bluebells being walked on damaged them for future years…
