Birthday weekend is stopping my gardening life for a short time. And I made a birthday cake using what I bought on Wednesday in my solo shopping spree in the closest supermarket. I’ve managed to make a chocolate fudge cake with a chocolate glaze (I’ve never made one before…) and decorated it with a packet of yogurt-covered Skittles. The latter was a mistake purchase as I thought they were normal multi coloured ones… my store cupboard had some random cooking chocolate.
