A morning off and I have been busy! I met a friend for a catch-up and while in town I bought some plants and I’ve repaired a neglected bed. It’s been hiding behind the car under repair.

So I bought some curly grass, bulbs – alliums, snowdrops and crocus – and impatiens to give a pop of colour now and I reformed a bed with rubble from the building work (waste not, want not?). I don’t like waste and I am not in receipt of the magic Lottery numbers! I also hope that rushing out to the drs won’t leave my bulbs vulnerable to resident squirrels chez moi!
