How do you feel about cold weather?

When we are threatened with a May Bank Holiday heatwave it seems odd to be answering this question.

When England swelters more frequently – it’s global warming as predicted – and Scotland is getting its fair share of warmer days, I think I question where I want to be.

Gardening – aka weeding in my rambling wilderness – is less pleasant in high temperatures so I’ve got a few days to address the worst weeds before it’s no longer cold enough to be out.

In fact I might have to investigate what happened to my husbands hammock…
