Tulip time!

It’s the emergence of my favourite spring bulb now. The wide range of colours appearing show how much I enjoy the shape and form of this spring flower.

The other flowers I love are the snakes head fritillary. I find the colour shape and form of these flowers really appealing.

These ones were hiding in the flower beds under the stems I left in place over the winter to allow shelter for wildlife. I read somewhere that we need to leave things and not be too tidy: that appeals to my (lazy) soul. I’ll go back later and take some more pictures.
