A potting shed has been assembled and was installed with minimal and simplistic instructions which made little sense to us.
To say we cursed would be an understatement: there was lots to be angry about and the pieces were not necessarily identifiable based on the rubbish and scant illustrations provided. It was a six or eight pages of instructions and we haven’t covered them all.
However it became clear that my husband had set himself the target of getting to the point no pieces could be blown off overnight. No gales are forecast but that doesn’t matter when we can count the amount of fragile light equipment/greenhouses/sheds that have blown over fences from this garden.

But I am excited to have a proper shed for garden stuff. It’s not enormous but it’s bigger than anything we had before. It makes sense of the concrete slab and will allow planning and being organised for the spring.
But we have a 17th birthday fast approaching and we are eating out for that tomorrow so we are limited on the finishing stages still needing done. A roll of roofing felt is still to be added!
PS: It should be pointed out that the shed was heavily reduced in a sale. Perhaps it had rubbish online reviews I didn’t see. And I’m sure why two windows are missing the plastic sills but I may have pulled them off with the packing and not realising they were sills, thrown them away… but I don’t think I did.
