We visited some beaches and places in Norfolk when Halfterm saw us having three days at Heacham in Norfolk. We love this part of the country and we visited lots of coffee shops and beaches to get my fill of sea air and sandy stretches before the cold really bites.

We visited a gin distillery and had several cream–filled scones… and I took pictures of the things being swept ashore as the news was full of articles telling you not to touch some of the wildlife.

North Norfolk was where we’ve visited for many years and it holds lots of sentimental memories, not least being proposed to over a decade ago on a bitterly cold marshy beach. We had never visited the Royal estate in Sandringham and that was an experience and a half…
