Hey, August could be busy!

Our daughter is in Korea! Two years of planning and she is now there, visiting Seoul and Heritage sites, including the DMZ, or Demilitarized Zone. Boy she is going to have some tales to tell us! Communications are such that we’ve already had several texts to say her card doesn’t work! Go Henry were supposed to work!!! But Korean card readers are using a different system to ours and the PIN doesn’t work…

The three troupes from Hertfordshire!
First purchases in Korea!

But they are there and going to the WSJ soon for the opening ceremony which is already getting me excited. We have been getting regular Instagrams and we’ve seen the kids departure on ITVX.

Peacock butterflies are in our garden en masse because of the buddleia.

And we have our visitor here sleeping in oldest’s room, and going crazy with finding some weed-buried July flowering canna lilies. And repotting some plants that have replanted themselves. My garden could be amazing again. As I have indicated, I am currently unemployed, my temporary contract is ended and I need to find another employment!

You may be presented with our efforts and planting exploits over the next couple of weeks.

Painted my new planter from Waste Not Want Not Nursery in Stevenage!
