Cup cupboard cleaned out. Check. Dead spiders and all. As well as some old Christmas coffee from 2019. Not the oldest spice…

We moved ten years ago so the majorly out-of-date spice must have moved with us. Embarrassing.

I’m glad to start spring cleaning. There are lots of dusty things to be cleaned. Hey the dishwasher was needing cleaned! Yes they do need declogging more often than anybody wants to do it.

But we have a boiler fitting in a couple of weeks so at least I’ll know the cups we offer will be clean, if not embarrassing. To the children who decorated blanket mugs, they are masterpieces and to mum they hold little ‘aw’ moments before being replaced at the back of the bottom shelf.

Best China still lives in the dining room but the worst cluttered room is undoubtedly the kitchen with its Knick knacks and ‘Art’ objects generating nostalgia at every turn.

Plus we have a floor fitter coming to quote for flooring on the kitchen finally so decluttering needs done. As well as cupboards cleared for the boiler fitter… phew!
