My week has been a bit dramatic to tell the truth but it also brought home the feeling that I am being looked after.

My stumble on the busy streets of Cambridge had me thinking the worst: I’d seen the Neuro so this compounded the sense of doom that I was carrying around.

I haven’t been able to work the two days I was booked for: I did try but driving this morning clearly showed me that it wasn’t safe to drive one-handed! I booked an appointment with the nurse on the telephone who got me a GP appointment as I was a complex case!

But the GP was very helpful and booked all the appointments my Neuro requested and set my mind at ease about what can be done: physio booked and MRI confirmed the week before Christmas!

God bless the NHS! I feel very blessed not to live in the USA…
