Autumn walks

We had an interesting dog walk through Rowney Warren today.

The sun came out a few times and our dog met lots of new dog friends, preferring small terriers and pugs to the larger labradors and retrievers. He found dogs that look like his friends at dog training but they were avoiding him due to his exuberance. He is quite difficult for me to control but he is obviously happy with his family after a year almost!

We saw some beautiful autumn colours in the woodland. Lovely little toadstools and autumn leaf fall.

And following our walk we felt our lunch was well deserved! There were Halloween decorations at the farm shop too!

A dung beetle!

Gardening was done yesterday when we moved the woodpile and tidied up where the log pile had been before. All to prepare for a new shed…

Ivy was exterminated!
Log pile shelter was moved…
