What are your future travel plans?

Life stopped many of us from getting to exotic places for the last few years.

Having teenagers, who are Scouts/Young Leaders, means they have been getting the adventures in place of their parents while one recovers from major cardiac surgery.

I keep dreaming though and vicariously see the Notre Dame scaffolding or hear about hostels to visit in the future (Nimes anyone?).

Truth be told I didn’t envy the teen lugging the minimally packed but still heavy rucksack off on her travels. Backpacking was a long ago adventure for me and actually only involved a tour of Spain to get to the Expo in Seville and a year in the Midwest of the USA. I’m not heading back THERE anytime soon and I’m not sure if the visa authority will let me back in with my current FB diatribes about the current administration.

I can dream though! Other places are still on my wish list! Iceland, Scandinavia or Japan? On my million pound bucket list!
