Then there was a thunder flash that hit the ground at the nearby Lavender Farm. But we needed to get rid of some nasties, as well as the weeds stopping the car from reversing out of the drive. Yup its sensors are that sensitive…
We pulled out loads of vine weed and snipped a few more spiky things and then the rain started. It’s not a light shower either.
Green bin is almost full and I reckon it’s gonna take another few hours to rid the front of nasties and dead heads of valerian and golden rod. Neither plant I like or desire to grow but they grow regardless.
My blog needs renaming to reflect that my limitations are not being able to regrow my favourite things in either garden but also that despite my lack of experience I still enjoy trying to make a garden to love. That allows us to enjoy spending time together. That will reflect my desires and my goals for a better garden for the future.
It’s raining hard now…
