Tip run with ruined books! Staying masked up too! My wee car is fine for smallish loads and to be able to carry multiple damaged books I hadn’t exactly filled the bags to bulging but there was at least 15 in that first Tip trip.

I feel virtuous! I had to give up on the idea of recycling the books as they needed to be decanted and taken out of the plastic bags. I hadn’t anticipated further exposure to ratness so in the end I tipped them in the non recycle bin. I’m doing my best to recycle our household but it seems that there are a lot of the country still lagging behind.

Life is still giving me challenges but I’m still trying my best to keep my mind optimistic and keep my focus on the things that matter.
