See the lady out there at just after four attacking spiky bushes and you know it’s collection day tomorrow. Spiky bush has doubled in size and is a menace to drive users, not least when it is fierce enough to scratch car paintwork!

So the tops of the bushes also got a minimal trim and ivy and other menaces were snipped. I bought some new snips (secateurs) and gloves to use on emptying the back shed so it was good to use them on the task tonight. They (gloves) weren’t however able to withstand spiky barbs.

Weather turned cold and fierce with hail stones so it’s still early days to plan much outdoor work. But I feel good that a green bin collection could happen productively tomorrow (if the green bin is being done?) We are paying for it after all. Hail be gone x

PS I even pulled some more ivy off in the dark and lifted that tree root into the bin. Fingers crossed the men will take it tomorrow 🫶
