On Thursday I was given the news that the surgery I had to remove precancerous cells from my right breast has been successful. The need for scanning is still yearly but that’s no different to many people my age!

I want to have a restful and calm Christmas and look forward to spending time with my family. There was also good news last night when my youngest got her Gold Scout Award. My oldest had a successful panto run at her school and is off to the after show party tonight.
Hubby didn’t take all his holiday due to his surgery so for the first time he is taking lots of time off in December! Maybe we will get to see Wicked soon! He is off for a mystery day of shopping on Monday! Bye bye Mr Lastminute.com!

We also are enjoying our new dog who is proving a hit in the town centre. The latest theory as to his dna is a ‘wollie’ or a cross of a collie and a whippet! Wally more like! Also we need to discover what causes his flatulent side. It’s quite pungent…
