Decorations are up! We are sorry not to wait until December but this can be my last blog of November. It’s chilly and having a new dog who likes us to join them outside when we need them to do their business I need the fire to be churning out kilowatts of heat. It’s a funny old Black Friday season/week/never-ending pressure to buy as much Christmas stuff as we can before December is upon us.

I’ve sent presents up North as we won’t be travelling this year and I already had a delighted parent on the phone. I have to work out Spanish postal services for other family but there will be a new address or two to confirm for those relatives.

But the kids have given me some ideas already and one is already making a family gift sat on the sofa. We’re watching a Muppet Christmas Carol as well.
