So, Six Years …

Six years anniversary of my little blog. That really shocked me! I have written many blog posts in that time. Not all following my initial theme but all pondering the place of gardening within my life. Some periods followed trauma or lockdown or not moving forward but they all focused on the world around someone trying to make sense of life after some pretty major life changes.

Late parenthood sees me still manoeuvring the school pickups and taxiing mid teens around the county despite being a reluctant driver. Well my last county-wide job also helped build my confidence with longer journeys but I’m not the responsible driver going further afield. I left driving manual cars a few years back…

But I digress. The blog I set up and still feel some passion for is to celebrate what gardening and green spaces (and beaches) can do for our sense of well being. I share pictures I like of the most dramatic and sometimes seemingly insignificant things.

I bemoan my lack of earnings and lack of motivation and energy this year but health issues really brought into focus what really mattered: that we were all healthy and able to spend time together. And there might be more on that tomorrow…

Scouting prep for two different camps…
