I’ve wanted to review this book for a while but until I gave a copy to mum for her 80th I couldn’t write about it! But now I have the opinion of a herbologist of the book.

How Herbs Healed the World by Connor Smith
How Herbs Healed the World is a profound source of information about the properties of herbs, beautifully organised for everyday living.
Finding healing and preventative ways by adding herbs for all variety of uses within this well-researched book. And perhaps seeking within the different categories of growing our own medicinal garden. Norma Baird
You can see Mum heartily agrees with my initial thoughts on seeing this book advertised. It is beautifully illustrated with some of the most helpful graphics and drawings. My least favourite weeds, sorry, cultivars are described in ways that you can’t find them so objectionable.

Beautiful books really make my heart sing and I’d recommend this to anyone whose grapple with the worst menaces in the garden needs turned on its head. Plant life is amazing.

My post a couple of days ago when I threatened to stop my blog of six, yes 6, years illicited a message from Spain questioning my ill humour and stating I couldn’t give it up. And the reminder from WordPress/Jetpack that my blog was exactly six years old also made me realise it has helped me through a lot of tough times and I’m not gonna quit. I just need to make sure the enemies in my garden don’t include these ones!

This looks like such a good book! I’m going to see if I can source a copy. Thank you for the recommendation ❤️

It was edited by someone I used to work with! A long time ago. And it’s well laid out too.
