Well the grass has been cut… and I’ve taken three trips to the skip with two more bags ready to go on Monday. (Skip too busy on the weekend!) There was also lots of plastic which was deteriorating in the sun. I’ve kept a lot of plant pots which are hidden behind the potting shed.

I hurled green stuff into a skip at around 10 and the area was full of cars coming and going but no terrible queues. That is my worst kind of day, stuck in car queues so we’ll save the next bags till Monday.
Curly cut the grass for me and it’s amazing the difference from knee high grass, and I got a thumbs up from the lady I have been speaking to. We want to see and ideally adopt a dog we have seen pictures of but we won’t be able to see for a week or so which gives us the weekend to get the worst weeds culled. Bindweed is curling around quite a few saplings we need to eradicate too.
There hasn’t been a visible ratus over the last few days. I don’t believe any were caught by our visitor last week but there are fewer places they can hide now.
