Eating this weekend is planned! There is a breakfast in preparation and for the first time in years my bank account has money in it! Usually I am without funds but some funds appeared this week. Yay! It’s a school holiday next week too.

The Food Festival starts today too! Something to get out the house for! RHS Chelsea is over and there was controversy over the judging (again). I went to Chelsea when I worked and lived in London but I remember it being very crowded and I bought unsuitable plants for my tube journey home. I don’t think I’d consider going on the Friday night again.

But I might not be too late to plant some carrots if I just weed those boxes of mine. I have been weeding bits of mares tail all week and took out some dead forget-me-nots from the front beds. The green bin might be chocka by the time it’s collected in 2 weeks.
