Well, I know I wasn’t alone in finding the criticism of the winning Chelsea Show garden uncomfortable when Monty and Joe said neither of their choices won like they are as critical of the gardens in the running as the judges. The award had just been given out when they said it wasn’t their choice: who cares? The winner didn’t deserve that on national telly! Inappropriate!
