So many tulips bursting open! I haven’t dug any up as some advice says but I have left them alone. Some have disappeared so I’ve made a note to replace them. Others haven’t been the colour I expected but you live and learn. Blue tulips are still a goal!

It’s a bit like reading this week that snakes head fritillaries are considered rare. After buying and planting bulbs/corms of those for the last few years (possibly in Wilkos) I have loads of little burgundy bells currently in both gardens. And I love them! I think they remind me of studying Charles Rennie MacIntosh and loving the designs and paintings that featured them.

I’m still shaking off the cold I got from everyone else after thinking I’d taken enough vitamins to stay healthy. But I’m still not feeling well enough to overdo my time in the garden. Manana!
