Head cold’s galore! Hard to be celebratory when you’re not religious as a family! We’ve had a birthday weekend more than an Easter one bar the chocolate eggs the kids made me buy several weeks ago and I hid on the kitchen cupboard in plain sight… and forgot about til I was reminded. Just as well, as the stocks had dwindled in the shops on Friday.
I was so sunny yesterday some sunbathing was done. I have to get the lawn mower out!
But it’s turned really cold, and every member of the family is in a different room, some more comfortable than others (and no, no one is in a bathroom!) I keep thinking I’ll do something and my get-up and go has disappeared out the window. A walk round the common this morning seems to have been our extent of activity but the dog is happy knowing that we are all home and she can find us all.

There is lots of bud to come but as you can see by the last picture, there’s a lot of grass too! A cut of the lawn (makes it sound posher than it is) is overdue. I do need to do some of ‘those’ jobs, the necessary ones, as well as some digging, tidying, and replacing the glass in the greenhouse.
Maybe this Halfterm will see those things done…
