I planted some things! Aside from weeding lots of grasses I did manage to plant a few things… rather chaotically as I wasn’t sure how to plant the hostas somewhere the slugs won’t get ‘em…so I planted some other plants while I mulled the hosta problem. I uncovered snail shells under the weeds… And I also used some hoops to connect the extremely tall roses into an arch. We’ll see how long that lasts (until a six footer comes to visit… ?)

Already told it’s too low. If we are shifting big stuff (like greenhouses) up and down we usually go that way …

But after my brief stint of gardening, I took Squeaky to her birthday party at the local go cart company where, yes, I bumped into a couple of speedy carters, but I wasn’t the slowest! it was scary how exhilarating it was and I briefly worried about my driving home skills when I stopped going round and round and round and round… no identification possible with our face masks on!

I planted a lavender rose bush and some grasses. Whether the rose bush will remain a lavender colour remains to be seen. I have another supposed to be blue which is a strange pink.
