Half Term: Day3; Excuses, excuses…

I have ventured out and if I go inside a potting shed, it is quite pleasant to just potter… All over the country they had snow but North Herts, nada! Raining like crazy, for weeks now, which means little gardening outdoors today (spiky blackthorns still needing eliminated). But I could utilise a potting shed and wrap up warm? There is so much to do just need to be strategic!

Yesterday! A brief dry patch!

Let me plan and try to order some replacent polyethylene panels for the greenhouse so it can be fixed. It has pretty much landed in a resting place but there are jobs which need dryness for me to finish them. I dug up some trugs on soil to flatten the space behind the greenhouse so I have more planting material if I was to finish off some more planters, some of which have been neglected last year when Operation Korea took most of my energy.

But I will not buy extra things this year. I cannot afford the loss of plants… and I will only purchase plants that have homes allocated in the garden… honest!

Sorry that plan already fell through with two days of planting this half term. And day 3 is kinda wet!

I bought some lilies in Lidl on impulse today! Actually that was a big shop but I put it on my VISA! Oh gosh things are getting bad… if anyone hears of any jobs I can apply for, let me know! I’ve applied for lots of things but I haven’t been successful. It’s easier to get a job if you already have one but I can’t find one that is open to me.
