Arctic Blasts!

Colder today and the truth is I’m still doing bits and pieces outside. The potting shed s almost complete but it’s needing filled with a lot of things currently arranged all over the garden. Lots of equipment and pots could now be rehomed but I could also get out and clip some more of spiky out the front. I am distressed by two spikes shooting up through my front Veg Boxes which need serious work.

Shall I attempt another hour outside culling Spiky? Rather than write about it I did it! So several hundred snips saw the green bin full of Spiky and lots of other random grasses and ivy. I am enjoying gardening in the normally dormant February and I can see my potting shed excitement filling the greenhouse soon!

Better not hex it – snow fall soon? And that’s one of the headlines on my news feed… I’m not telepathic!

There is space behind the potting shed that could get covered over and lots of things could be stored behind. But it will need to be done carefully so that we don’t end up with things becoming inaccessible. But I’m not sure whether cardboard is enough to keep the weeds down or how long it will last. Bits of concrete slabs could be used. And then there is space for at least one of the shelve sets (currently holding the pots) still needing a home after we’ve moved in to the greenhouse again.
