Snow is in the air!

My trolley is my favourite thing to photograph at the moment. The reflections in the water aren’t fluffy snow clouds!

I’ve been out and done an hour and a half of tidying. Weeding if it only involved pulling dry stalks and snips of the spiky stuff. I filled a few trugs, and pulled a lot of leaves up. I didn’t do poop patrol (but I should have) and my brown bin will at least have something for collecting next week. But there are lots of dead leaves and weeds everywhere, lots of spikes and thorns!

I had the dog join me and despite acknowledging her bark once as I heard the bell, I kept telling her to be quiet. And managed to miss a big delivery as I thought it was coming tomorrow… A potting shed is not a small delivery and it needs two people to unload according to the instructions I’ve now read. Hubby had taken his car this morning so the drive was clear so the delivery truck must have pulled up, called my mobile several times, unloaded a pallet and taken off without me realising. Oops! A car will still fit! But you almost can’t see the pallet from the front door if you open it and don’t lean out…

Today’s cull!

There is no way I can unload any of it by myself and the other car should still fit on the drive. I just hope it doesn’t blow over…

And just after I realised this had happened, a light flurry of snow happened! Eek! The weather forecast did mention this but I hoped the blue fingers I got from being outside were not because it was TOO cold for GARDENING! Or because Snow might really appear. In this part of the country we don’t always match the weather forecast after all?

The shed will possibly have to be moved, though I figure those bits are too big for me. Bribe money for the kids to help me? There isn’t a Go Henry category for manual labour…. PS: it was undone and relocated in the dark, hubby wearing a miner’s head torch and Squeaky on hand too! Real glass in the windows!!

Frozen trolley!
