October Spooks?!?

I’ve started buying a few Halloween things for my youngest – a spooky rose tiara with black veil – who wants to be a ghost bride… I offered my dress but it’s in the attic and no one wants to go up and find it…

Like the tartan necker?

But I have to admit to being lethargic about the garden space. Life sees us walking the dog rather than cutting the grass or pruning the roses. It does need doing and maybe by writing about it I will find myself outside?

The garden has unusual blooming flowers- Californian poppies and roses – and the latter definitely need pruning. It’s also predicted that October will be unusually hot. September didn’t feel cool at all and murmers of global warming are being dismissed by the current Tory conference.

I just wish the dog would dig the bits I need dug…

I shall see whether I need to get rid of more pics from my WordPress account. Some of my early posts could be archived as you don’t need to read any repeats!

Not sure what these seed heads are…
