We took a run out to my bargain nursery which had been decimated by its sale weekend. Nothing fell into my car to fill the new planter! Shock horror! Am I feeling ok?

But G has really decimated the weeds today! I don’t have room in our garden bin for all the nasties she has pulled out today. We’ve identified black bindweed attacking the lilies and roses which really had been allowed to flourish and decimate plants I was trying to look after. June and July were not good gardening months for me and I also think after today that driving is possibly also draining my energy. I was regularly having to do the school shuttle which I never anticipated when we moved to Letchworth seven years ago.

I am not as healthy as I’d like to be. Not sure if there’s some reason for that but, and it’s a big but, could it be because I was not doing a job I liked or wanted to get out of bed for? I must start looking again, and be conscious of finding something that doesn’t drain me so hard and fast. I find joy writing this blog and taking photos of beautiful landscapes and flowers but I’ve lost a lot of interest in photography this year. I don’t know, but in the exchange of technology I’ve also been getting a bit sloppy in accepting photos that aren’t actually as sharp as they should be, or as well framed. I need to sort that out!
