Early birthday present!

And waffles in the park. R is getting lots of love and new experiences… we took her out with three of us to the food stalls in town last night. Lovely evening eating waffles as the sun set.

Taking advantage of the calm of the end of the week and people enjoying an evening activity meant food was running out (not the waffles!) when we arrived. The dog is playing with us and trusting us that we won’t leave her/be unaware of her feelings about her surroundings, and we will be able to do more things with her soon.

Her favourite viewpoint has seen things crashing from the dining table…

Garden wise she is still chomping the grass which is too long but we have to be wary of spiky grass seeds getting embedded in her fur. – The vet warned us about it. Said it could be an issue with curly dogs. And the flowers I worry about being present – foxgloves – have only had a sniff and the black iris have provided petals which have given my youngest ink for the paintings she did of flowers. Her artwork puts me to shame as my ideas of flower art haven’t materialised yet!

Birthday present was RHS membership! Yay! Garden visits galore!
