It’s only a sneaky reference to the birthday list! Last year we discussed a garden shredder which only appeared near Mothers Day this year! So the garden Furniture I like might do similar? The bench I brought from my first flat might not support a person safely for much longer… But we cleared lots in the garden to introduce R to the family and she was an absolute angel. They didn’t see the trauma we did over our visits but you know, a week has seen a settled-in dog! She doesn’t want any of us to leave her, but the welcome when you come home is second to none!

And it being June sees the amazing return of the pollinators! Bees are loving my flower expenditures of the last year or two. I’ve seen gardening groups discussing the lack of bees but I was out front for all of five minutes and the bee count was high! I like to think the apiarists at the nearest clutch of beehives (I’ve blogged about visiting those and buying local honey) are benefiting from the extra flowers too. You can’t begrudge that kind of spending either!
