I saw and took a few pictures today but with trying to sort out appointments for little people, and then collecting lunch for everyone, I haven’t pulled out my shovel and spade. I’ve pulled at some mares tail as I’ve passed. And I’m conscious of thinking about those roots the drain guys were finding… what if it was mares tail which in all the things I’ve read describes how pervasive and long its roots are! So many things I want to see growing and there are quite a few snails frequenting the front garden. I’ve lost a few hostas already… but I will in future plant those in baskets/tubs surrounded by grit! I won’t be deterred!

I love seeing old favourites returning alongside the newer purchases! And I’m all too aware of forgetting things needing replanted…
I’m just hoping that I’ll get a good day tomorrow and feel like digging when I get home… I might have to work out how to make myself less of the favourite with R as currently she does get distressed when I leave the house… Didn’t foresee that one, did I? And I should say that she hasn’t shown much interest in plants but I will keep an eye on this …
